Edinburgh pub crawl

If you’re planing a weekend break in Edinburgh once we’re all free from lockdown and the coronavirus, you’ll have to plan your evening entertainment after your private Edinburgh tour you enjoyed earlier that day.

You’ll be curious to see what Edinburgh has to offer for entertainment in the evening. You could look into an evening Edinburgh private pub crawl tour.

First of you have Edinburgh’s new town, this has a great mixtures of bars to choose from, one of the most popular areas you have is George Street, this is in the centre of Edinburgh’s new town, known to be the more upmarket area to venture in Edinburgh.

So if you fancy a cocktail this is the area for you, One of the favourites at Christmas time is the Dome, But with Edinburgh’s George Street more a restaurant/nightclub area, for the more traditional pubs of Edinburgh’s new town you’d have to take a small detour of the main track and head for Rose Street, here you have a great selection of classic public bars Edinburgh has to offer, one of the main attractions of Rose Street is to have a pint in every pub in the street, as there a few bars I’ve not known many to finish the task on custom made tour/pub crawl of Edinburgh.

Also the scotch malt whisky society, this is a members club with a vast selection of scotch whisky, but also has a bar on the ground level that is open to the public, in this bit you have a limited but still good selection of single malt whisky, with the members lounge up the stairs you have a much larger choice of whisky available, even the biggest whisky connoisseur would be impressed with the selection of single malt whisky.

You also have the old town area of Edinburgh, here you have the Royal mile and Grassmarket as the main attractions, but it’s the Grassmarket area that’s more known for a pub crawl as it is for a custom made tour of Edinburgh.

but now more of the bars have turned into restaurant bars that attracts more tourists to the area over the years.

The Royal mile area is similar to the Grassmarket with most bars now restaurants as well with the likes of Decon Brodies, but round the corner from here you have something a little different with the whiski rooms, again this bar sells food as well but also has a shop connected to the bar with a great selection of whisky for sale from all over Scotland.

Also the Scotch Whisky experience, here you have the biggest selection of scotch whisky, where you can also have a whisky tour and tasting in the Amber restaurant and whisky bar.

So depending on your location in Edinburgh, your never far away from the start of a bespoke tour/pub crawl
